The Mandelbrot set is formed by the simple recursive function, z_n+1 = z_n^2 + c, for every point c in the complex plane. If this sequence stays bounded for a given point c, that point is colored black, otherwise its colored blue.

Change the recursive function to whatever you like and see what happens.
